The Stephenville Chamber of Commerce celebrated the remodel of University Plaza Shopping Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 16. The University Plaza is located across from HEB, conveniently within walking distance from Tarleton State University. The renovation by Carnegie Companies brings a new modern style with a few more added tenants. A portion of the renovation was funded through a matching façade grant from the Stephenville Economic Development Authority (SEDA). Fred Scalese, vice president of leasing, said he is excited to bring a modern renovation to the community.
