Several Stephenville High School students competed in the UIL Academic Region Meet in Lubbock at Texas Tech. Three students will be advancing to state. They include: Johnathan Esqueda, chemistry; Ben Wood, second place, Social Studies; and Chloe Navarro, third place, Ready Writing. There are also five students that are alternates for state and also have three teams that are alternates for state and have a chance at making wildcard and competing at state.
