Knights rip Victory Life, 79-32

Undefeated defending state champ Stephenville FAITH (4-0) kept up its scoring onslaught, beating Brownwood Victory Life 79-32 last Friday just a week after posting a school record 90 points.

Shadd Cole passed for 217 yards and four touchdowns and also rushed for a TD. Three of his scoring strikes went to Justin Baugh, who hauled in four catches for 124 yards.

Jacob Thompson scored three times on the ground and had a 50-yard TD catch, while Jared Veldhuizen and Daniel Winkler each rushed for two touchdowns.

Winkler had 14 tackles and Baugh 11 to lead the defense. Lucas Leamons made nine stops, Thompson had seven and Cole returned an interception 45 yards for a TD. Veldhuizen, Thompson and Callum Harmon each had three sacks.

The Knights visit Weatherford Express Homeschool at 7:30 p.m. this Friday.
