STILLWATER, Oklahoma – The Oklahoma State University Rodeo program proudly signs Lariat Larner to the team as a member and the new graduate assistant coach for the 2020-2021 season.

Larner, daughter of Jodi and Marty Larner, is from Stephenville, Texas, and will be a graduate student at OSU in the fall of 2020.

Larner competes in goat tying, breakaway and team roping, and plans to study Agricultural Economics while attending OSU.

“I am so excited to come to OSU,” Larner said. “Not only to finish out my college rodeo career, but to be the assistant coach as well. I can’t wait to see what this new chapter of my life has in store.”

Coach Cody Hollingsworth is proud to sign Larner along with four more new recruits to the team beginning in the fall.

“Our program has continued to grow immensely over the last few years,” Hollingsworth said. “I am always looking for talented individuals to add to our team. I am eager to see what this year’s recruits will bring to our team. Our goal as a team is always to continue to develop and make it to the College National Finals Rodeo.”

The OSU Rodeo Team is part of the university’s Ferguson College of Agriculture. The team has been a member of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association since 1948 and competes in the Central Plains Region. For more information, visit rodeo.okstate.edu.
