Destiny Hale

Destiny Hale is a 5-3 senior defensive specialist who played on the Stephenville High School Honeybees varsity volleyball squad for two years.

In addition to volleyball her junior and senior year, Hale has been a cheerleader for SHS for three years.

The Honeybees finished their season last Tuesday night with a loss to Decatur in the regional quarterfinal playoff round, and had a 29-19 season record.

The E-T had a chance to ask Hale five questions, and here are her answers:

E-T: What is it about volleyball that you like the most?

Destiny: “I love playing with my class because there are so many seniors, and we have just grown up playing together. We play as one.”

E-T: Have you made any plans for college?

Destiny: “I would really like to go to college in California. I really want to play volleyball for Mesa Junior College (in San Diego).”

E-T: What profession would you eventually like to be in, and why?

Destiny: “I want to be a psychiatrist. My mom’s a counselor. I want to help people like she’s helped people. I want to follow in her footsteps.”

E-T: What is your favorite type of music?

Destiny: “I like all kinds of music. I’m not very picky about my music.”

E-T: If you could go see any musical performer, who would it be?

Destiny: “I would want to go see Post Malone. (His music) is not all about the same thing. It’s a variety.”
