Weather alters baseball schedule...again

Evan Robinson, a senior from FLower Mound, stands in at a recent Tarleton baseball outing. Robinson and the Texans have, for the second week in a row, had their schedule changed due to weather concerns.

Mother Nature continues to toy with the Tarleton State baseball schedule as the Texans have been forced to alter this week's schedule of home games.

After cancelling last weekend's conference-opening series against Eastern New Mexico in Portales due to winter weather, Tarleton State has called off Wednesday's non-conference single game with St. Mary's and has pushed back this weekend's home series with Angelo State back one day.

The Angelo State series was originally scheduled as a 1-2-1 series covering Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It will now remain in the same format with the same start times over Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The start times will be 3 p.m. on Saturday, 1 p.m. for a Sunday afternoon doubleheader and a 1 p.m. start for the finale on Monday.
