Seventh grade Bees win first meet

The seventh grade Honeybees from Henderson Junior High won their inaugural cross country meet in Keene Wednesday. Runners include (left to right) Breana Leos Natalie Elizondo, Alexis De Los Santos, Meagan Lewis, Jasmene Delacerda, Destiny Guzman and (not pictured) Kayliana Castillo, who took top individual honors.

Henderson Junior High's seventh grade girls cross country team began their school athletic careers with a bang Wednesday, winning the team championship at a meet in Keene.

Kayliana Castillo won the race to lead the seventh grade Bees, who had five of the top eight finishers to dominate with just 23 points.

Tiffany Cox won the eighth grade girls race and the Bees had three runners in the top 10 to finish second in the team standings.
