On political cartoons

Staff Writer
Stephenville Empire-Tribune

I take great umbrage with your "political cartoon" on Aug. 28. The leaders of Iran have long, loudly, openly decried "Death to Israel," but I have yet to hear any Israeli leader say "Death to Iran."

This information is not worthy of the readership of our paper. I hate to speculate your reason for printing it.

Also, one cannot, by any imagination understand the "why" of the one of Aug. 24. It would seem to have found its way in by some "bottomfeeder."

Remember your Aug. 28 quote quote of Mark Twain, "Those who do not read the news are uninformed. Those who read the news are misinformed."

Please do not allow this be applied to our paper.

Sincerely,

Paul Anderson
