2 kids injured when bus crashes into ditch in Weatherford

WEATHERFORD, Texas (AP) — Authorities say at least two children had minor injuries after a school bus crashed into a ditch in Weatherford.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Lonny Haschel tells KXAS television station (http://bit.ly/1WVFQ8d ) that the back tires of the Weatherford Independent School District bus dropped off the roadway Monday, causing the bus to go into a ditch.

Authorities said two of the 24 kids on board the bus were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Weatherford is located about 30 miles west of Fort Worth.
