SPD officer promoted

Lt. Orlando Gaitan, left, with the Stephenville Police Department was formally sworn in recently by Chief Dan Harris, right, in a promotion ceremony attended by friends, family and community members. As a 26-year veteran of the department, Gaitan has served in a variety of roles and positions. He will now be the Administrative Services Lieutenant.
