Erath County Hero

The Erath County Sheriff's Office recently recognized Deputy Vanessa Griffin for being selected as an Erath County Hero. Griffin started her career at the sheriff’s office as a jailer and rose in the jail to the rank of Captain. She then took on the challenge of going to the Law Enforcement Police Academy and becoming a deputy. She has since joined the Erath County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team. "Griffin is a valuable asset to this department. A true leader among her peers and a great servant to the citizens of Erath County. Congratulations Deputy Griffin on this recognition," reads a post on the sheriff's Facebook page.
