Big money raised at banquet pays off new building
The 25th annual Choices Clinic and Life Resource Center banquet held Oct. 8 raised enough money to pay off the note for the organization’s new building on Harbin Street.
“We are so grateful for the support of this community and how they have seen this project through,” said Choices executive director Heather Dawes.
“To have this beautiful building paid in full in five years is a huge testament to this community. They saw a need and filled it and we and our clients are grateful.”
Fundraising for the project began in 2014 and the building, now appraised at more than $800,000, was completed in 2017.
