H-E-B to celebrate 'reimagined' store Friday

Special to the E-T
A new sushi department is one of the store's most popular additions.

H-E-B’s 26-year connection to Stephenville is about to get stronger.

On Friday, H-E-B will celebrate the completion of the reimagined store situated at its familiar address of 2150 W. Washington Street.

Customers will enjoy enhanced product selections, new store conveniences and the expected unsurpassed freshness and quality – all at H-E-B’s celebrated low prices.

“The Stephenville community deserves a store that reflects its growth and changing needs,” said Jeff Thomas, senior vice president and general manager, H-E-B Central Texas Region. “We have thoughtfully re-designed this store to do just that - with a broader range of offerings to create a fantastic place to shop.”

Originally constructed in 1991, the 44,000 square-foot, newly remodeled store will boast an expanded selection of local produce, fresh meat market and grocery selections, as well as its extended over-the-counter medication offerings. Equipped with a fresh exterior, the new and improved store will also include four additional quick-check stands, an upgraded car wash station and new bathrooms, all to better serve its patrons.
