The weekend is here and there are some great happenings in the area. The weather is looking to be sunny with temps in the mid to high 70s, so enjoy it and TGIF!

1. Raffle benefiting ECUW

Enter for your chance to win some amazing prizes and help raise funds for Erath County United Way at a raffle taking place at 4 p.m. today. Tickets are $5 each or six for $25 and can be purchased at both InterBank locations. Participants have a chance to win a 39-inch Vizio television, a Tarleton autographed basketball or a Stephenville High School autographed football and do not have to be present to win. 2. Cars and Coffee at the Courthouse

Are you an auto enthusiast? If so, then the Cars and Coffee at the Courthouse is an event just for you taking place from 7-10 a.m. Saturday at the Erath County Courthouse. 3. Education Foundation’s Color Chaos 5K/Fun Run

Gather the family and get ready for some fun at the Stephenville Education Foundation’s annual Color Chaos 5K and Fun Run starting at 8 a.m. Saturday at Stephenville City Park. Registration is $35 for the 5K, $25 for the fun run, and all proceeds go towards the Education Foundation’s innovative teaching grants for Stephenville ISD classrooms. 4. Dog adoption and donation drive

If you’re looking to add to your family or help a great cause, get over to Fuzzy’s Taco Shop between 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday for Angels & Outlaws’ dog adoption and donation drive event. 5. Super Duper Saturday at Flamingo Bingo

Show your support for local veterans and have some fun at the Super Duper Saturday event starting at 5 p.m. Saturday at Flamingo Bingo. The Disabled Americans Veterans Chapter 234 will host the event which will feature bigger pull tabs, larger game payouts and door prizes.
