1- Dinner in the Stacks

Join the Friends of the Dick Smith Library at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for Dinner in the Stacks. Guest speaker will be local author Sherri Knight who will be featuring tales from her newly published book; Death List: Trail of Terror. A book signing will follow the program, which is held at the Dick Smith Library on the Tarleton campus. Appetizers will be served at 6:30 p.m., dinner will start at 7 p.m. The cost for members is $17.50 and $20 for non-members. Call 968-9474 to make reservations.

2- Cowboy Up with the PRCA Rodeo

Put your boots on and ride on out to the Lone Star Arena this weekend for the Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Advanced tickets are still available at Grand Entry, Saddle Rags and the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce for $8 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Tickets are the gate will be $10. The rodeo will feature mutton bustin' and a calf scramble for kids, wild cow saddling, a rodeo queen contest, motorcycle stunts and more. Friday night is Tarleton Night and students get in for $8 at the gate with a valid Tarleton ID card.

3- Theatre at Tarleton presents "44 Plays for 44 Presidents"

By Andy Bayiates, Sean Benjamin, Genevra Gallo-Bayiates, the play is a chronological, biographical survey of the lives and presidencies of each of the 44 presidents that have held office. The play will be held in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Friday and Saturday from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Contact Dayle Cox at 968-9291 for more information.

4- Bart Crow Band at City Limits

The Bart Crow Band will be in concert at City Limits at 10 p.m. Friday. Advance tickets are $8 and $10 at the door.

5- Fall into fall with the Chamberlin Fall Fest

Bring the whole family out for a fun evening at the Chamberlin Fall Carnival from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at Stephenville City Park. Hall. There will be food, games booths, prizes, a petting zoo, pony rides, train rides and so much more!
