If you left the house this morning with a sweater on and are anxiously awaiting the first official day of fall to arrive Saturday, you're not alone.

With the long days of summer almost over, we are shifting our attention to the delights of a new season.

And while we have been oohing and ahhing over backyard barbecues and crisp salads, we're looking forward to cool-weather fare.

The E-T is asking readers to send in their best recipes of the season. From soups, chili and roasts to pumpkin rolls and spice cakes, we want it all.
