TSU summer commencement set for Aug. 6

Tarleton State University will confer diplomas in two ceremonies at summer commencement exercises Aug. 6 at Memorial Stadium on the Stephenville campus.

There will be two ceremonies, one at 9 a.m. and one at 7 p.m., for the different colleges within the university.

– 9 a.m.

• College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences

• College of Business

• College of Science & Technology

– 7 p.m.

• College of Education

• College of Health Sciences & Human Services

• College of Liberal & Fine Arts

Undergraduate and graduate students will be allotted eight tickets per student. All guests, including children age 2 and older, must have a ticket to gain entry to the commencement ceremonies.

Tarleton continues to review its policies to enhance public safety and improve efficiencies as it relates to university events. Limiting the size and style of bags carried into commencement ceremonies aids in maintaining safe and secure environments, decreases the time waiting to enter venues, and improves the overall event experience. 

Guests with a prohibited bag will not be permitted inside the venue. Guests with prohibited bags will need to return their bags to their vehicle and transfer their belongings to an approved clear plastic bag before entering the venue. 

The ceremonies will include graduates and undergraduates.
