Stephenville High School seniors sported their college T-shirts to school on Monday.

An array of college T-shirts could be seen throughout the halls of Stephenville High School Monday as the seniors got into the spirit of their next chapter after graduation.

Noble Alexander plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in nursing and Spanish and be a part of the band’s drum line.

“I’m looking forward to the atmosphere and I love the people there. It’s really beautiful other than the dust storms,” Alexander said with a laugh.

When asked what his goals will be, Alexander said, “I just want to be a better leader and learn how to live life on my own.”

Kilanie Arpin plans to stay in Stephenville and attend Tarleton State University where she will major in environmental engineering and be a member of the choir.

“I’m looking forward to how it’s such a nice campus, not overly large, but it’s not so small where I’ll know everyone,” Arpin said. “I want to be able to transition from high school to college smoothly and I want to grow as a person.”

Riley Forehand will be attending Abilene Christian University and plans to become a registered nurse.

“I might go into pediatrics, but that’s not set in stone yet. Maybe more of a research setting,” Forehand said. “I think what I’m really looking forward to is finding myself and making some really long-lasting relationships with friends. My goals are going to be as open and involved as I can and try to stay focused.”

Other seniors were sporting T-shirts for the University of Texas, Texas A&M University, University of Oklahoma, Stanford University and more.
