Tarleton State University is inviting community members looking for work to join Tarleton students and alumni at the university's annual fall job fair on Tuesday, Oct. 2. In a press release earlier this week, Tarleton officials said the fair is open to anyone looking for a job, not just students and TSU alumni.

Representatives from various companies in the area, as well as across the state, will be in the Thompson Student Center Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that Tuesday. Some businesses on hand will be FMC, Personnel Services, the local branch of the Texas National Guard, the Gateway Foundation, Providence Health Network and Cornerstone Staffing.

Opportunities will include career options, full-time jobs, part-time employment and internships. So no matter if you are a first-year student at Tarleton, graduating this semester, a Tarleton alumni or a community member looking for a change in careers, this could be the break you have been looking for.

While job seekers do not have to register for the event, Tarleton officials said they are still accepting applications from companies who would like to be a part of this opportunity. If your company would like to attend the fair, contact the Tarleton Career Services office at 968-9078 for more information on how to get registered. The deadline is Friday, Sept. 28, for company registration.
