Stephenville High School and Henderson Junior High will be hosting a double feature of plays beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Birdsong Amphitheater at Stephenville City Park.

At 7:30 p.m., HJH’s eighth grade theater class is presenting “The Internet is Distract... OH LOOK A KITTEN!” by Ian McWethy.

“It's a comedic look at one student's struggle to use the internet to finish a school assignment,” said Mindy Pope, theater instructor.

At 8 p.m., SHS Theatre is presenting “Help Desk” by Don Zolidis.

“’Help Desk’ is a special show written to be performed as a Zoom style show,” Pope said. “Two to four students use Zoom to simulate a call to a company help desk. They are all humorous scenes that I think our audience can totally relate to.”

The special screening of the double feature is free admission and guests are encouraged to bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy the show.

“We are just thrilled to be able to do some kind of event,” Pope added.
