Erath grand jury returns nine felony indictments

The November Erath County grand jury returned nine felony indictments this week against a total of eight individuals, including two first-degree felony drug charges.

Erath County’s October felony indictments include:

— Julia Noelle Burks, state jail felony, possession of a substance in Penalty Group 1 (less than one gram).

— Roy Dale Clark, state jail felony, credit card or debit card abuse.

— Ryan Thomas Estrada, second-degree felony, burglary of a habitation (with intent to commit assault); state jail felony, unauthorized use of a vehicle.

— Noe Frausto Juarez Jr., third-degree felony, evading arrest or detention (with a vehicle).

— Jerry Dwayne Knight, state jail felony, burglary of a building.

— Jonathon Bradley Patino, first-degree felony, possession of a substance in Penalty Group 2 (more than 400 grams).

— Patrick Ray Phillips, first-degree felony, possession of a substance in Penalty Group 2, (more than 400 grams).

— Cody Ryn Thompson, state jail felony, theft (less than $2,500) (with two or more prior convictions).
