The Patriot Tour to stop in Stephenville
The Patriot Tour will make a stop on their national tour from 1-5 p.m. at the Stephenville City Park in the amphitheater parking area on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The Patriot Tour is composed of a group of patriots who have volunteered to drive iconic fire and safety vehicles across the country to “change the rhetoric.”
“Our trucks have been wrapped to celebrate and memorialize our Constitution, the founding fathers who created it, and the men and women, past and present, who have defended those inalienable rights and freedoms for all Americans,” The Patriot Tour’s press release states.
The tour is composed of seven patriot vehicles – five fire trucks and two SUVs – who will make the 5,000-mile journey this fall, touring 15 states and Washington D.C.
“We are thrilled they have chosen to stop in Stephenville for their national tour,” said Julie Smith, Tourism and Visitor Bureau manager.
The Patriot Tour decided to travel nationally because “our nation is in crisis.”
“Our country needs to rally behind something positive, inspiring, and uniting,” their press release states. “We need to strip away the language that categorically divides us and come together to celebrate all that this country stands for – life, liberty, justice, freedoms and boundless opportunity to make a unique mark on this world.”
Themes of the Patriot’s Tour will include: The Flag and our Constitution, Military, Police, Monuments, the 2nd Amendment and the Freedom of Religion.
