GARLAND, Texas (AP) — Investigators say a third suspect has been arrested on a capital murder charge in the fatal shooting of a Dallas-area convenience store clerk during a holdup.

Garland police say 31-year-old Tristan Rashad Bowles of Dallas was being held Thursday in the city jail. Bond wasn't immediately set for Bowles, who's accused by police of driving the getaway car.

Police say two cousins — Chavez Tryee Nash and Darrell Dewayne Nash — remain in custody on capital murder charges in Saturday night's death of Manish Panday.

Police believe the victim struggled with an attacker, who was shot in the leg. Garland police say Bowles drove the cousins to the store, waited outside, then drove wounded Darrell Nash to a hospital.

Jail records don't list an attorney to speak for Bowles.
