Dublin City Council to honor departing Curry tonight

The Dublin City Council will meet tonight and among other agenda items will honor outgoing Councilman Darrell Curry and swear in his replacement, Cliff Jackson.
Curry, who has been a popular and hard-working member of the city council, will be presented with a certificate of appreciation by Mayor David Leatherwood.
Jackson volunteered to finish out Curry’s term representing Ward 2 and was appointed to do so at last month’s meeting.
Other agenda items include:
• Several airport-related items including submission of an airport ramp grant proposal
• Consideration of the addition of an additional sewer line on W. Liveoak
• Changes to the city’s fee ordinance
• Updates on park projects
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Dublin ISD Auditorium.
