Dog of the Week: Rosco

Stephenville Empire-Tribune
Rosco is a 1- to 2-year-old Pit mix. He has been at the shelter since April 2021. He was adopted and returned because they could not keep him contained and he was going after the neighbor's dog or livestock. Despite his aggression toward other animals, he has been an absolute sweetheart with people and children, and he is very friendly with new people. He is housebroken and crate trained. He would need to be crated when left alone just because he has a tendency to chew on things when bored. He does well walking on a leash and riding in a car. He does need to have a secure fencing as he can jump out of 4-foot chain-link fences. Rosco is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. For more information or to adopt Rosco, contact the Erath County Humane Society at (254) 965-3247.
