Ying and Yang are up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.

This week’s featured pets are Ying and Yang, four-month-old chihuahua/jack russell puppies that are super cute.

They are both males so they will need to be neutered but they have already had their first two rounds of parvo shots.

“They appear to be very healthy,” Diane McCoy, director of the Erath County Humane Society, said.

The puppies are the last of a litter of seven and are owner-surrenders.

“They’re pretty good,” McCoy said. “After they can get out, run around and have their breakfast they’re pretty quiet.”

McCoy said that true to their breed they are playful and fearless.

“They are very playful,” she said with a laugh, “and very brave. Nothing scares them.”

The pups will grow up to be small dogs so they are ideal for apartments or properties with small yards.

Currently the ECHS is housing 66 dogs and 27 cats that are all waiting for a loving home. For more information about Ying, Yang or any other lovable pet, call the ECHS at 965-3247 or find them on Facebook.
