Pictured is the 2023 Lions Queen's Court. First runner up, Skylar Garner; Lions Queen Avery Goodwin; and second runner up, Caitlyn Skiles. Each year the Stephenville Lions Club provides a $1,000 and a $500 scholarship to two female Stephenville High School students. Applications are solicited from members of the junior and senior classes each spring. Judging is on the basis of academic achievement, community involvement and service, articulateness and personality. The winner is designated as The Stephenville Lions Queen for the following Lions year. During her year as Queen, the young lady is expected to attend Lions Club meetings, to participate in Lions events and fundraisers, and to generally represent the Stephenville Lions Club to the community.
