Henderson Junior High shredded Joshua in a pair of seventh grade football games last week, winning both by a combined score of 68-0.

The seventh Jackets picked up scoring from five different players and won 38-0.

Jon Clark Giddings scored on runs of 18 and 22 yards and Cameron Crew rushed for a 12-yard TD and added a pair of 2-point conversion runs.

Brennan Wooten and Zoe Kendall hooked up for a 46-yard aerial score and again for a 2-point conversion, while Colby Trinkle scored on a 14-yard run and Jesus Prado added another 2-pointer for Stephenville.

Banner Sullivan intercepted a Joshua pass for the Jackets' defense, which was also led by Joaquin Talamantes and Lio Garcia.

Other offensive standouts included Grant Isham and Evan Moody.

The seventh "Blue" team led just 8-0 at halftime but pulled away with six points in the third and 16 in the fourth for a 30-0 blowout of the Owls.

Bradley Villareal accounted for all the early scoring, rushing for a 6-yard TD and a 2-point conversion in the second and exploding for a 63-yard score in the third.

Avery Colon scored on an 11-yard run and Tuff Kinsel added a 2-point conversion for a 22-0 HJH advantage in the fourth.

Cody Huckabee put the game away, picking off a Joshua pass and returning it 11 yards to the house. Sy Felton ended the scoring with the ensuing 2-point play.

Matt Chapman recovered a Joshua fumble on a kickoff and joined Sam Cannon and Brady Alford as defensive standouts. Other offensive standouts included Elias Sanchez and Bradley Morrison.
