E-T Staff Report One thing none of the Stephenville state championship teams in 1990s ever did was host a playoff game at Memorial Stadium in Stephenville.

The 2007 Yellow Jackets may have the opportunity to do just that next week.

Scheduled championship and third place games take place tonight in District 7-4A, which consists of Fort Worth schools.

As it has played out, District 8-4A has produced two separate games to determine its three playoff participants as well.

Stephenville and Everman meet at Dr. J.E. Marr Stadium in Everman, with the winner claiming the district crown, and the loser finishing second.

Crowley hosts Aledo with the winner finishing third in 8-4A and representing the league in the Division I playoffs.

In District 7, the championship showdown is between FW Southwest and FW O.D. Wyatt. A third place battle between FW Dunbar and FW Eastern Hills also looms.

If Stephenville and Dunbar win, the Yellow Jackets will be hosting Dunbar in the bi-district round of the playoffs Thursday.

If Eastern Hills defeats Dunbar and goes to the big-school bracket, then Stephenville will travel to face either Southwest or Wyatt in Burleson Thursday.

Whoever the opponent is, Stephenville knows the contest Thursday will kick off at 7:30 p.m.

The winner of the Everman and Stephenville match-up will take on the second-seed of the two Division II schools from District 7, while the loser must face the highest-seeded 7-4A team.

Stephenville and Everman will be placed on opposite sides of the Region I bracket and could only meet again in the regional final (state quarterfinal).
