The Yellow Jackets scored on the first play of both of their next two possessions. Spano found Chris Malone behind the defense for an 80-yard touchdown pass on the second Stephenville possession, and Tom Ed Ramsay turned a screen pass over the middle into a 57-yard touchdown on the third.
Spano later found a fully extended Trey Taylor in the back of the end zone, and Taylor drug his feet across the artificial turf in bounds for Stephenville's fourth score from 14 yards out.
Morris went back to the middle screen and Spano connected with Josh Graves on a 25-yard touchdown to end the first half scoring with Stephenville ahead 36-0.
"Our kids did a great job tonight," Morris said. "I thought we played very well in the first half.
"We'll be playing Thanksgiving weekend, and that's a great feeling. There's nothing quite like getting to practice on Thanksgiving morning."
Malone returned the second half kickoff 99 yards to make it 43-0 before Wyatt quarterback Marcus Turner finally got the Chaparrals on the board with touchdown scampers of 29 and 38 yards.
The Chaparrals added another late score on a one-yard run by Ricky Shearin.
After Malone's touchdown, Stephenville added to its second-half scoring with two field goals from Chavarria and short touchdown pass from Brad Picha to Hayden Whitely. The field goals were from 26 and 22 yards, while the scoring throw covered five yards.
