There is a new No. 1 in the Associated Press Class 4A football poll.

After four consecutive weeks of being ranked No. 1, Stephenville fell 31-28 in overtime to Everman last week.

Highland Park moves up from No. 2 to claim the top spot entering the postseason.

Stephenville fell to No. 7, with Everman jumping four spots to No. 4.

Corpus Christi Calallen and Waco each moved forward one spot to No. 2 and No. 3 respectively, and New Braunfels and Wichita Falls Rider remain No. 5 and No. 6.

Behind Stephenville, Texas City moves up to No. 8, while Copperas Cove falls to No. 9 and Waxhachie enters the poll for the first time at No. 10.
