On Sept. 29, the seventh B team Honeybees played in a one day tournament in Stephenville, finishing fourth overall.

The day started with three pool play sets. They split the first set with Brewer losing the first game 11-15, but winning the second game 15-9. In game one, Taylor Gutierrez led the team with three points and one kill. Suzanne Wen scored one point with one ace and two kills. Lorissa Sanchez and Shandy Wilcox scored one point each. The high scorer in game two was Caitlyn Jackson who scored four points with and an ace and a kill. FaithAnn Hardcastle scored three points and had one kill. Katherine Marrs contributed one point and Cesilee Hammit made one block.

The Honeybees took both games in the second set of pool play against Cleburne. During game one, Brittany Floyd and Wilcox each had two points. Hardcastle scored one point and had two kills. Gutierrez added one point. The final score of game one was 15-13. Jackson was high scorer in game two, scoring three points. Wen and Sanchez both scored two points. Hammit scored one point and had one kill. Sabrina Thompson had a terrific block. It was another close win for the Bees with a final score of 16-14.

The Bees split their last pool play set against Weatherford Tison. Game one was a decisive win, with a 15-9 final score. Wilcox scored an incredible six points, one of which was an ace. Hammit followed close behind with three points. Gutierrez scored one point and Wen had one kill. Game two was close, with the Honeybees losing 12-15. Hammit had a strong game, scoring three points with one ace. Gutierrez also played well, scoring three points. Thompson had one block.

In the start of bracket play, the Bees were defeated by Aledo in three games. In the first game Aledo won 25-14. Wen and Hammit each had one point. Floyd also had a brilliant kill. During game two the Bees stepped it up and won 25-21. Gutierrez led the team with five points followed by Wen with four points and two aces, and Jackson also with four points. Floyd also had one point. Hammit and Wilcox each had a wonderful kill. The Bees tried their hardest in game three to pull it out but were unsuccessful. The score was in favor of Aledo, 25-17. Wen was the high scorer with four point. Hammit and Wilcox each had two points. Gutierrez had one point and an ace. Wilcox also had one ace.

In the last game of bracket play the Bees took on Joshua and lost in two games. The score of the first game was 16-25. Floyd and Wilcox each had two points and Hammit had one. Wilcox also had a kill and an ace. In the second game the score was 14-25. Hammit was the high scorer with two points. Marrs, Jackson, Gutierrez, and Sanchez each had one point. Hammit, Jackson, and Sanchez had one ace each. Also Thompson, Gutierrez, and Sanchez each had a magnificent kill.
