Becca Emmons continued her domination of the discus throw and Sheridan Stokes dominated all challengers in the 100m hurdles.

Those were the biggest highlights for Stephenville on a weekend that saw the varsity Honeybees collect 11 top six finishes in the Bluebonnet Relays in Brownwood.

Emmons, a senior, heaved the disc 120 feet, 3.5 inches. It didn't approach her best throw of the season, but was enough to win the event by more than three feet over an unattached competitor and more than seven over her nearest 4A foe.

Stokes' victory in a time of 14.52 seconds was just as impressive, as the sophomore - who has already been to state as a freshman in the short hurdles - left her closest competitor - a 5A runner - behind by more than four-tenths of a second.

The Bees' 4x400m relay team consisting of Ashtin Ivey, Sheridan Stokes, Kristin Kaiser and Caitlin Erck took third place in 4 minutes, 6.90 seconds, while the 4x200m team of Meagan Parsons, Bailey Lewis, Mayra Castillo and Kaiser was fourth in 1:47.59.

Becca Hall and Kaiser placed third and fifth in the high jump. Hall cleared 5-2, while Kaiser finished at 4-10.

Parsons and Lewis were fourth and fifth in the 100m. Parsons was just one-tenth of a second ahead of her teammate, finishing in 12.56 seconds to Lewis' 12.66.

Erck was fifth in the 400m in 1:02 and Lewis took sixth in the 200m in 26.76.
