Stephenville (21-10, 11-2) completes its run through District 8-4A tonight when Cleburne visits the Honeybees.
In district play, the Bees have dominated everyone except Aledo, who has already secured the 8-4A championship.
Outside of the two losses to Aledo, the Honeybees have allowed only two opponents to win a single set. One was Everman Tuesday, while the other was tonight's opponent - Cleburne - on Sept. 25.
Cleburne enters the match-up needing a win to boulster the Lady Jackets' shot of securing a state playoff berth as the third place finisher in 8-4A.
The Lady Jackets are currently tied with Joshua. Interestingly enough, the Lady Owls visit district champ Aledo Friday. Tie-breaking scenarios could very well be a factor in determining who advances to the post season and whose season comes to an end.
Sub-varsity action begins at 5 p.m., with the varsity match to follow at approximately 6:30 p.m.
The Honeybees, already guaranteed of a second-place finish in 8-4A, have scheduled a practice match before the beginning of the state playoffs. The Bees are set to visit Copperas Cove at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
