The Stephenville High School softball team played two games Thursday at the Honeybees' new field on campus as the three-day Honeybee Classic got underway. A total of 12 schools are competing in two brackets (Blue and Yellow), and half of the games are being played at McCleskey Field at Stephenville's City Park. The Bees are scheduled to play at 2:15 p.m. Friday at SHS against Fort Worth Country Christian, and at 5:45 p.m. versus Breckenridge. After the Bees' final pool play game, set for 10:45 a.m. Saturday at McCleskey against Springtown, they could finish their part of the tournament at either 2:15 p.m., 4 p.m. or 5:45 p.m. Saturday, depending on their pool play record. SHS lost both of its games Thursday, 15-11 to Cisco and 15-2 to Aubrey.
