After earning the District 7-4A volleyball championship with a perfect 8-0 record, capping it off with Tuesday's win at Brownwood before entering the playoffs next week, head coach Shay Douglas decided to let her Stephenville High School Honeybees varsity squad have fun during practice Wednesday, the day before Halloween.

The players dressed up mostly as animals, including a dolphin (far left), horse, hippo, lion and an assortment of cat-like beings.

The Bees are ranked 15th in the state with one of the best records in Class 4A, at 33-9. They are on a 11-game win streak and have won 16 out of their last 17 games. Their bi-district playoff game will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 against Bridgeport, in the Aledo High School Gym.
