One of Tarleton's most anticipated events of the year is back.

Midnight Madness comes to Wisdom Gym on Monday, Oct. 14, on the first night of Homecoming week on campus. The doors open at 11:15 p.m. and fans can enjoy pregame performances by the Tarleton Cheerleaders, Texan Stars, Foul Play and a live DJ.

Tarleton Athletics will give away 300 free T-shirts and there will be several contests throughout the night for students to win free prizes. The first being a series shootout contest for a chance to win free rent for one year, courtesy of Stephenville Rents. There will also be a full-court putting contest for free tuition and fees for one semester and three contestants will have a chance to win. The final contest will be a skill challenge where student leaders will pair up with Tarleton basketball players to compete for prizes.

To be eligible for the contests, fans must download and be logged into the Tarleton Sports Fan Rewards Program. The app can be downloaded in the Apple and Google Play Store.

Following the festivities, the Tarleton men's and women's basketball teams will take the court after the clock strikes midnight to signify to official beginning of the NCAA College Basketball season. Both teams will have a special introduction to their rosters you will not want to miss.
