In the final home games of the season, Tarleton shutout UT Permian Basin in back-to-back games to complete the sweep on Senior Day and close out the regular season. It was senior day for Megan Rosewell, Marisa Flores, Meghann Wrinkle, Megan Durante, Kaitlyn Thomas, Haley Freyman, and Nyka Wood.

"The girls did a great job of coming out today and staying focused," said head coach Mark Cumpian. "I know that on Senior Day, there are a lot of distractions and other thoughts but I'm proud of the way they were able to channel their focus and get two wins today.

"This senior class has been a joy to watch since they've arrived on campus," he continued. "All seven of them have brought something unique to this team and I couldn't be more proud of them. I will miss all of them but, make no mistake about it, we don't plan to say 'good-bye' anytime soon. We have a lot of softball left to play."
