Tarleton scored a season-high 103 points in a one-sided 103-52 win over Arlington Baptist on Saturday in Wisdom Gym.

The Texans (9-7) nearly broke a school record for shooting percentage in a game, connecting on 65 percent of their shots (40-of-62). Tarleton's three leading scorers on the season combined to outscore Arlington Baptist by themselves, 53-52. Josh Hawleyposted a game-high 21 points, while Deshawn Riddick added 17 points and Corinthian Ramsey scored 15 to go with a career-high eight assists.

The Texans led the whole game and got out to a 13-2 lead in the first four minutes of play. Riddick scored all 17 of his points in the first half, including going 5-of-5 on 3-pointers to help the Texan lead grow to 20.

Hawley had his most efficient game of the season, shooting 9-of-10 from the floor, with the majority of his buckets coming on dunks, for his fifth 20-point game of the year. Hawley also added seven rebounds and a pair of steals.

The Texans led 53-30 at the break while shooting 68 percent from the floor.

Tarleton opened the second half on a 16-2 run to pad the lead to 37 points. The Texan bench produced 36 points, led by Anthony Davis' 11 points.

Tarleton's freshman trio of Sam Marshall, Preston Enloe and Clashon Gaffney played big minutes and it translated into solid results. Marshall made his first career start and scored five points to go with five rebounds and three assists. Enloe scored eight points on a pair of 3-pointers and Gaffney grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds and scored six points.

Jaraan Lands was a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor for nine points while Jesse Hill added seven points off the bench. Ivan Tevisscored a career-high four points and gave Tarleton its biggest lead of the game at 51 in the closing minutes.

Tarleton will travel to Canyon to take on No. 8 West Texas A&M on Thursday, Jan. 18, at 7:30 p.m.
