Slaton - July 4, 1950 ~ March 28, 2022

Regina Ann Spence, 71, of Slaton, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 28, 2022.

A memorial service for Regina will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Slaton, Texas, with Reverend Paul McQuerry officiating.

Regina was born on July 4, 1950, in Lubbock, Texas to the late Randall and Thelma Ward Cook. She attended public school in Leveland, graduating from Leveland High School in in 1968. Regina went on to receive her Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Texas Tech University. For over 30 years Regina was a financial specialist for Gould Pumps in Lubbock. She loved to be with her family and after she retired at the age of 62, she loved to travel with her family and friends. Regina served with Trinity Outreach in Lubbock for many years, and attended church at First Baptist Church in Slaton. Regina has lived in Slaton since 1985.

Regina is survived by her daughter, Dezra Youngblood of Stephenville; grandchildren, Tamren Terhune, David Youngblood, Christian Youngblood, Caden Fain, and Braylen Fain; great grandchildren, Jack, Lonna, Brooks, and Layne.

Besides her parents, Regina was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Cook.
