Farel Loyd Williams

Hamilton - Farel Loyd Williams, age 81, of Hamilton, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Farel was born September 19, 1940 to Georgia Loyd Williams and Farel E. Williams.

Farel was born in Hamilton, Texas where he was raised up on the Leon River. He was in FFA and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1959. After graduation, he went on to school to become an electrician. Farel moved to Fort Worth in 1961 where he worked. He then moved back to Hamilton in 1973. He continued to drive back and forth to the big city to work. He was also a farmer and rancher.

He met his love, Margaret Carpenter, many years ago. They had a great life together, took care of each other and loved each other.

He loved his cows and he loved to fish but he loved to play poker. And he was good at it! In his younger days, he liked to calf rope and bulldog. Farel had many great friends. He cherished his friendships and his family.

Farel is survived by his wife, Margaret Carpenter; his daughter Ronda Williams Wiggam; his son Farel Justin Williams; his daughter Robbin Williams Hall (Chris Hall); his son Dwayne Huie (Heidi Huie); his step-daughter Donna Huie; his son Bently Cunningham; and his step son Clayton Andrew Miller; his grandson Ryan Cofer, his granddaughter Michelle Starks (Kenny Starks), his granddaughter Morgan Oliver (Dan Oliver), his granddaughter Aubrey Williams and his granddaughter Amanda Huie. Several great grandchildren and many cousins.

Farel was preceded in death by his father Farel E. Williams and his mother Georgia Loyd Williams; his grandson Kyle Christopher Hall, his step son Dennis Eric Cunningham and his step son Timothy Wayne Cunningham and his step daughter Debra Huie Taylor.
