On Saturday, April 10th, 2021, Martha Lee Littleton Mittel, loving mother of two children and five grandchildren, passed away at the age of 79. Martha was born on June 20th, 1941 in Stephenville, TX to Lee Roy and Sylvia Rosala Apple Littleton. Martha is survived by her two children, Lisa Weaver and Brian Mittel and brothers, James Littleton, and Bill Littleton. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Kay Elizabeth Littleton Watts, and Mike Littleton.

Martha was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who had a compassionate, kind, caring heart. She was known for her quick wittiness, humor, infectious personality & fun positive outlook. She had a kind and compassionate spirit.

Her favorite hobbies were being with family & friends, baking, entertaining, traveling and watching her favorite sporting teams. Mom had a passion for caring for her loved ones, watching the Baylor Lady Bears Basketball team, and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Baylor Football teams play.

She would always put family first and praised our Lord and Savior Jesus. She brought joy and touched so many lives with her sweet ways. She was a full-time mother then later in life worked in the insurance field in San Angelo and finally as an HR admin and Testing coordinator at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. She was the most incredible friend to so many with positive and uplifting spirit. No matter how bad things were for her or how difficult life got for her, she was always making you smile with her positive look on life touched with a witty sense of humor. Mom lived a beautiful life and brought joy to everyone. We will miss her so much!

Unfortunately, due to COVID we had a small private funeral service at Stephenville Funeral Home, and burial at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery where she was laid to rest. A public celebration of Martha's life will be planned for a later date.
