Beloved by his family, he had the special tribute of having two of his grandchildren named for him; Holly Danielle Peterson and Logan Wesley DeLeon.
He is survived by his three daughters and their spouses, Rick and Carla Trussell of Stephenville, Ron and Kaye Quinn of De Leon and Danny and Leslie Peterson of Aledo. He is survived by 6 grandchildren, Daron Trussell and Hillary of Stephenville, Lindsay DeLeon and Max of McAllen, Jeremy Quinn and Kristy of Joshua, Dusty Quinn and Leah of Brock, Tarren Peterson of Chicago, Illinois, and Holly Peterson of Washington, D.C. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; Keller and Lola Trussell; Aiden, Wyatt, and Logan DeLeon; Miller, Granger, and Chandler Quinn; Makenna and Snyder Quinn.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ernestine; his parents Barm and Ida Stacy; his brothers Aubrey and Albert Stacy and his sister Polly Jacobs.
Holly loved his dog, Lucy, his loyal companion. She was recused from Stephenville Humane Society and donations in Holly's memory to the local animal shelter would be much appreciated.
