GARLAND — Walter Lee Flewelling, Jr., 79, former of Stephenville, died May 20, 2008, in Garland.
A memorial mass will be offered at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2008, at St. Brendan Catholic Church in Stephenville. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz.
Mr. Flewelling was born on Dec. 3, 1928, at the Storks Nest in Tucson, Ariz. He served in Army Signal Corps during World War II and came to Stephenville about 20 years ago.
He was preceded in death by mother, Carolyn Alice (Schneider) Flewelling of Tucson, Ariz.; father, Walter Lee Flewelling, Sr., of Anaheim, Calif.; and grandparents, Frank E. and Kathleen Schneider of Tucson, Ariz.
Survivors include sister, Dorothy Susan (Flewelling) Crigler of Tucson, Ariz., nieces, Susanna Rae (Meek) Anderson and husband Tim of Phoenix, Ariz. and Jessica Lyn (Crigler) Craig and husband, Steve; nephew, Charles Franklin Meek; great-niece, Lauren Nicole Craig and great-nephew, Raymond Charles Craig, all of Tucson, Ariz.
