DE LEON — Linda Hammon, 58, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in De Leon with Father Phillip McNamara officiating. Burial will follow in De Leon Cemetery with Nowlin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hammon was born on Feb. 16, 1950, to the late Ed and Esther Reyna Espinoza in Stanton. She was married to Ronnie Hammon on Oct. 12, 1970, in Stephenville. She was an office manager for the De Leon Nursing and Rehab for many years. Linda was a loving wife and mother and had resided in De Leon since 1970, having previously lived in Gorman and Seagreaves. She was a Catholic.
Mrs. Hammon was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Taylor Hammon.
Survivors include husband, Ronnie Hammon of De Leon; sons, Shannon Hammon of Stephenville, Daniel Hammon of Haslet and Keith Hammon of Granbury; brothers, Ed Espinoza and Rudy Espinoza, both of Ranger; sisters, Diane Lopez of Ranger and Sara Jackson of San Angelo; and a grandson, Connor Hammon.
