STEPHENVILLE - Earl Raymond Collins, 95, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, in Stephenville.

Funeral services was at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Weldon Branham officiating. Burial followed at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville.

Earl was born May 20, 1912, in Broken Arrow, Okla., to the late John W. and Hattie R. Jackson Collins. He married Dixie Ward on Jan. 14, 1934, in Wetumka, Okla. She preceded him in death on Jan. 10, 1987. Earl was a member of Stephenville First Assembly. He was a resident of Stephenville since 1961. Earl was a plant operator for Phillips Petroleum and a retired minister. He was also a former pastor at Dublin Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by a son Dick R. Collins on March 19, 2007.

He is survived by two daughters, Pat Hale of Stephenville; Dollie Parham of Stephenville; one sister, Dortha Campbell of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one brother, Joe W. Collins and wife Jean of Sapulpa, Okla.; six grandchildren, Chuck Collins and wife, Tamra, of McKinney; Tamara Lewis and husband, Jeff, of Little Rock, Ark.; Tina Kepulis and husband, Roland, of Hudson, Wis.; Tim Hale of Sallisaw, Okla.; Amanda Parham of Stephenville, and partner, Richard Volk, of Denver, Colo.; and Wes Parham of Denver, Colo. He also had eight great-grandchildren Justin, Tulsa and Caleb Collins; Adrin Montgomery; Travis, Kyndyll and Kyle Kepulis and Matt Shafer-Hale. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Collins, of Little Rock, Ark.
