L. Renee` and Jaci Renee` Stone
LIPAN — L. Renee` and Jaci Renee` Stone, mother and daughter, passed away on May 8, 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008, at the Patillo Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Patillo Family Life Center from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening.
Renee` was a loving wife, mother, Christian, and a devoted RN. She was born on Jan. 7, 1965, in Fort Worth to Morton E. Gray and Golda Ann Lagow. Renee` was a graduate of Boswell High School at Eagle Mountain Lake, a graduate of Texas Weslyan College and she received her nursing training from Tarleton State University. Renee’ married Johnny M “Stone” Stone on May 25, 1990, in Santo. She was a member of the Patillo Baptist Church where she was actively involved in the VBS program and nursery coordinator, and was sponsor for the Kidz At Camp in Glen Rose. She worked for John Peter Smith Hospital for the last 18 years and was active in the Life Gift Program. Renee` loved her lord Jesus Christ.
Jaci Renee’ was born on Aug. 29, 1998, in Fort Worth, and was in the 4th grade at Santo Grade School. She was a lover of pets and had two rooms full of stuffed animals. Jaci was active in sports, baseball, basketball and golf and she loved to swim. She loved to read and loved her school and her friends at school and in church. Jaci was active with her church family and was baptized on April 2, 2006.
They are survived by husband and father Johnny M “Stone” Stone of Lipan and son and brother; AEAN Johnathan Taylor “J.T.” Stone USN, mother and Grandmother Golda Whitworth and husband Don, father and Grandfather Morton Gray and wife Linda. Sisters and Aunts, Terre Bridges and husband Randy, Delissa “Lisa” Slimp and husband Marvin, brother and Uncle Morton E. “Marty” Gray III, Mother-in-law to Renee’ Helen M. Stone, sister in law Rosie Stone, and brother in law Steven L. Stone and wife Anne, other grandparents include: Ben and Dovie Udd and James and Julia Griffin, Grandmother and Great-grandmother Millie Whitworth, step brothers and sisters are Jimmy Don, Donnie, Tonya, Julie, Sonya and Jorita.
The family has asked that any donations be made to the Jaci Stone Memorial, My Furry Friends Fund, proceeds to be given to SPCA & Puppy Paws Funds, or the L. Renee’ Stone Nursing Scholarship Fund.
