Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Tolar United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Tolar Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Wiley Funeral Home.

Della was born March 28, 1910, in Huntington. She met and married Blake Curl Sr. in 1930 in Mercedes. Afterward, she attended The University of Texas at Austin while her husband taught school. They then moved to Tolar in 1930, and began their careers in the grocery and insurance business.
