STEPHENVILLE — Rodney Dee Goble, 58, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.
His body was donated to science and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. His remains will be buried at Pony Creek Cemetery east of Stephenville near Three Way in Erath County, but no date has been set.
Rodney was born on June 30, 1962 to Fredie Goble and Robin (Grinnell) Goble in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
Rodney went to Stephenville High School and worked for Parham’s Garage as a mechanic but specialized in A/C and put inspection stickers on every vehicle in the county. Everyone knew him as Skinny. He was a longtime Stephenville resident, but recently had moved to Bluff Dale.
His greatest loves were his nieces and nephews and riding his trike with his friends. Rodney never knew a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. When he saw his female friends he always gave a big hug and called them sweetie.
He is proceeded in death by his mother and his brother in law David Ferenz.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his parents, Fredie and Evelyn Goble of Stephenville; brothers, Randy Goble of Bonner Springs, Kansas, David Allen Reagan of Granbury, Texas; sisters, Rhonda Mitchell and husband Mike of Jacksboro, Texas, Linda Ferenz of Dawson, Texas; nephews, Cody Mitchell and wife Yvonne of Jacksboro, Texas, Michael Mitchell and wife Tarrah of Graham, Texas; nieces, Danielle Mitchell of Graham, Texas, Lindsey Travis and husband Jason of Palestine, Texas. and several great nieces and nephews.
