GRANBURY - Ross Allen Wolfe, age 68, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019 at the Granbury Care Center, in Granbury, where he was lovingly cared for as their resident.
Memorial Service is being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the First Christian Church in Granbury, Texas, 2109 W. Highway 377.
Born in Fort Worth on March 3, 1951, raised in Stephenville and preceded in death by his parents Danny and LaNelle Wolfe. Ross graduated from Stephenville High School where he was an Eagle Boy Scout, played varsity football, varsity golf and was an All-State typist. He attended Texas Christian University and graduated college at Tarleton State University. He made his home in Granbury during 1980 where he pursued his talents as an accomplished pianist and songwriter. During his music career, he enjoyed playing for the Tony Orlando show in Las Vegas and was proud to open performances for the late Ray Charles.
Ross is survived by his children: Ross Robert and Amanda, their spouses and four grandchildren. His sister Debbie Tidwell and spouse Lee Tidwell and his sister Dana Hemphill, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Both Ross and his music will be dearly missed.
